Lytx has appointed Chris Cabrera as its new chief executive officer. He succeeds interim CEO Andy Eckert, who will remain with the company as board chairman.

Cabrera brings more than three decades of experience in SaaS, AI, and technology leadership, Lytx said in a news release. For 20 years, he served as founder and CEO of Xactly, an AI-powered sales performance management platform, where he led the company from startup to public listing. Most recently, he served as interim CEO at Provarity AI.

At Lytx, Cabrera will oversee the company’s efforts to expand its video safety and machine vision AI offerings, with a focus on improving driver safety and fleet operational efficiency.

“I am honored to join Lytx, an established company with a strong, growing legacy and a solid cultural foundation,” Cabrera said. “I admire their unwavering commitment to innovation and their vision for every journey ending with a safe return. I look forward to expanding upon this vision.”
