Trucking HR Canada (THRC) is now accepting applications for its 2026 Top Fleet Employers (TFE) program, a national initiative recognizing carriers that meet high standards of human resources excellence.
The program, entering its 13th year, evaluates applicants against established HR benchmarks through a detailed review process. Fleets that meet or exceed the criteria earn the Top Fleet Employer designation, which can be used in marketing and recruitment campaigns.
“In 2026 THRC’s flagship recognition program will be in its 13th year,” said Angela Splinter, CEO of Trucking HR Canada, in a news release. “We’re definitely seeing the outcome of that work as more fleets with HR excellence seek this prestigious, national recognition. While we celebrate their accomplishments — these fleets enjoy the significant return that excellent HR practices have on their business.”
In 2025, the program welcomed 108 fleets — the largest group in its history. THRC says the initiative is designed not as a competition, but as recognition for fleets that demonstrate leadership in HR policies and practices, while helping to raise standards across the industry.
Fleets of all sizes, including private and for-hire operators, are eligible to apply.
