Maxim Truck & Trailer charity pancake breakfast raises $41,000

Maxim Truck & Trailer raised $41,000 for The Christmas Cheer Board of Winnipeg during its 25th annual charity pancake breakfast.

The event at Maxim’s Winnipeg head office, brought together over 350 community members, customers, and suppliers.

“We are incredibly proud of our team, customers, and suppliers for making this year’s pancake breakfast the most successful one yet,” Troy Hamilton, president of Maxim Truck & Trailer, said in a news release. “For 25 years, this event has not only been about raising funds but also about celebrating our community. We are honored to continue our deep commitment to The Christmas Cheer Board.”

Shawna Bell, executive director of The Christmas Cheer Board of Winnipeg, said, “The success of their annual breakfast is amazing, and this record contribution ensures we can bring essential help and holiday warmth to more families this winter.”

With a tradition of giving for over 100 years, the Christmas Cheer Board is a community-driven and grass-roots team that delivers over 21,000 hampers of food, toys, and cheer to people in need each year.
