Trucking HR Canada has announced Shawna Pandya as a keynote speaker for the 2026 Women with Drive Leadership Summit, set to take place on March 5 in Toronto.
Pandya is an astronaut, aquanaut, and emergency and aeromedical transport physician, and she will deliver a keynote focused on leadership, resilience and lifelong learning. She is also the first named female Canadian commercial astronaut with Virgin Galactic’s Delta class of spacecraft.
“The 2026 Women with Drive Leadership Summit is shaping up to be the best one yet,” said Angela Splinter, CEO of Trucking HR Canada, in a news release. “It’s going to be a powerful day to connect, learn, and engage in meaningful conversations that accelerate women’s participation in our industry.”

The 2026 summit theme, Thriving in a shifting world, focuses on leadership during the times of economic strain, rapid technological change, and geopolitical instability.
The full-day event will also feature a keynote from Melissa Leong, a national media personality and author of Happy Go Money, along with breakout sessions and networking opportunities.
The event will also include the presentation of the 2026 Women with Drive Leadership Award and a ceremony recognizing new signatories to the Women’s Leadership Accord.
