Abbotsford, B.C., blitz puts 11 trucks OOS, uncovers 104 violations

Police in Abbotsford, B.C., put 11 trucks out of service and identified 104 violations during an enforcement blitz last week.

Abbotsford Police Department’s traffic enforcement unit partnered with the Commercial Vehicle Safety and Enforcement team to conduct a commercial vehicle enforcement blitz in the city, according to a police department’s post on X.

“These large-scale operations play a critical role in promoting road safety and ensuring commercial vehicles meet regulatory standards,” police said. “Road safety remains a top priority for AbbyPD. Our officers will continue proactive enforcement efforts across the city to help keep our roads safe for everyone.”
