Peel Regional Police (PRP) arrested a Brampton, Ont., man in connection with the theft of trailers and freight. The total value of cargo stolen is estimated to be more than $1.5 million, according to a news release.

Between early December 2024 and late January 2025, several victims contacted PRP to report that their trailers loaded with freight were stolen by a transportation company known as All Days Trucking.

All Days Trucking was operating as a logistics and transportation company. The company is registered to an address in Saskatoon, Sask.; however, its credentials have expired, police said. “The suspect(s) found freight of interest through a third-party online platform and contacted the victims directly to offer transportation services at a discounted rate,” the release states.

The victims hired All Days Trucking to transport their freight. The suspect(s) then dispatched different transportation companies, some of which police believe were involved in these thefts, to pick up the trailers and freight from the victims.

The suspect(s) maintained contact with the victims through the email address dispatch@alldaytrucking.com. The victims were also contacted using various phone numbers until the date and time when the freight was to be delivered. The company then cut all communications with the victims.

Stolen trailers, freight seized

Officers discovered that Bura Limited Inc., owned and operated by Manjinder Singh Bura, 41, was complicit in these thefts and had possession of several of the stolen trailers and freight.

On Feb. 19, police executed seven search warrants on six trucking yards and one residential address directly associated with Bura and Bura Limited Inc. Officers located and seized a number of stolen trailers and freight.

Bura was arrested and charged with offences that include theft, fraud and possession of property obtained by crime. This investigation remains active, and police anticipate more charges could be laid. The charges have not been proven in court.
