Arris, Ont.-based Flash Freight Systems has expanded into the U.S. logistics market with the opening of a third-party warehousing facility in Spartanburg, S.C., and the launch of a daily less-than-truckload (LTL) service connecting the region with Ontario.
The Spartanburg facility opened in April and marks the company’s first warehousing location in the U.S. It offers 3PL services including cross-docking, freight consolidation, and warehousing, Flash Freight said in a news release. The warehouse is located near the South Carolina Ports’ Greer Inland Port, offering access to transportation corridors in the Southeast.

Flash Freight has also introduced a new daily LTL route linking the Greenville–Spartanburg–Charlotte region in South Carolina to Ontario. The company says the cross-border service is designed to streamline transit and customs processes for shippers moving freight between the two countries.
“Our entry into the U.S. warehousing market has been on our radar for nearly two decades, and Spartanburg is the perfect launchpad,” said Tony Gerber, president of Flash Freight Systems, in the release. “Combining this new 3PL facility with daily LTL service to Ontario allows us to offer seamless, cross-border solutions for our customers on both sides of the border, while allowing clients to benefit from both 3PL warehousing strengths as well as the reliability of our transportation fleet.”
