Murphy-Hoffman Company (MHC) has opened a new full-service commercial truck dealership in Ankeny, Iowa. The facility is located in the Des Moines metro area and operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Located at 5575 SE Delaware Ave., near the I-35/I-80 junction, the nearly 95,000-sq.-ft. dealership consolidates sales, parts and service operations. The temperature-controlled service department includes 37 service bays, including two dedicated CNG bays, a wash bay, DPF cleaning capabilities and an overhead hoist.
Operating as MHC Kenworth – Des Moines, the location will continue offering new Kenworth truck sales and all-makes used trucks, along with certified service support for Paccar, Cummins and CAT engines, Eaton drivelines and Allison transmissions. Mobile maintenance services are also available.
MHC Truck Leasing – Des Moines, located nearby at 4109 Delaware Ave., will continue to provide short- and long-term leasing and rental options.
“This investment wasn’t just about gaining more space, it was about creating room for our growing customer base and the dedicated team that supports them,” said Dustin Burton, regional vice president and general manager. “With this new facility, we can deliver faster turnaround times and improve parts availability.”
The dealership includes a driver lounge with a TV, Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, private showers and restrooms. Employee amenities include separate locker rooms and a training room.
