Peel Regional Police have cracked an organized commercial vehicle theft ring in Mississauga, Ont., and charged three men from Brampton, Ont.
On July 14, investigators from the force’s commercial auto crime bureau located a transport truck, reported stolen days earlier, in the area of Dixie Road and Meyerside Drive, according to a news release.
Two additional transport trailers, also reported stolen days prior, were located in the area and linked to three individuals.

Following an investigation, with the assistance of the aerial support unit and K9 Unit, officers arrested the individuals. Police recovered one transport truck and two trailers, with the total value to be estimated at $300,000, and the original stolen property valued at approximately $100,000.
Manjinder Singh Dhaliwal, 42, Harmash Lal Dadra, 44, and Rajwant Singh, 31, were arrested, charged, and held for bail hearings at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton. Charges have not yet been proven in court.
