Police find fridge, printer in cab of speeding truck

1 min read

Police in southwestern Ontario stopped a commercial vehicle for speeding and found something not so cool in the cab.

Elgin County Ontario Provincial Police officers pulled over the vehicle on Nov. 11 for travelling at 109 km/h in a posted 80 zone on Talbot Line, according to a post on social media platform X.

They discovered that the driver could not see out the passenger window due to a fridge and printer placed in the cab. The driver was “charged with speeding and no clear view to side,” Constable Jeff Beaumaster told trucknews.com.

“It is important to see clearly and be able to stop if something happens in front of you,” OPP stated in the X post.
