Peel Regional Police have arrested another individual and laid further charges in connection to an ongoing investigation that is estimated to include more than $5 million in stolen cargo.
Between December 2024 and January 2025, several victims reported that their trailers loaded with freight were stolen by a transportation company known as All Days Trucking.
Through an extensive investigation, it was determined that Manjinder Singh Bura, a 41-year-old man from Brampton and owner of Bura Limited, was complicit in these crimes, according to a news release. As a result, Bura was arrested and charged on Feb. 19.


On Feb. 26, investigators executed search warrants at an address in Nobleton, Ont., which led to the recovery of additional stolen property. Officers were also able to identify two more companies that were involved in these incidents: Velocity Logistics and Torque Logistics.
After further investigation, 28-year-old Sukhdeep Singh Brar of Brampton was arrested and charged multiple offences on April 3. They include multiple offences of theft over $5000, fraud over $5000 and possession of property obtained by crime.
In addition, Bura, who was originally arrested in February, was re-arrested and charged with multiple offences of theft over $5000, fraud over $5000 and possession of property obtained by crime.
Both individuals were held in custody for bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton. Charges have not been proven in court.
