Trucking Announcements: Leadership appointments at Wellington, J.J. Keller, Goodyear, Allison Transmission

This week, Wellington International hired David Andrews as business development manager and J.J. Keller named Adrienne Hartman as its new executive vice-president of marketing. Meanwhile, Grégory Boucharlat has been appointed senior vice-president, global commercial at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. Allison Transmission has announced several executive promotions — including Avery Sheets, Alex Schey, Ashwin Gopalaswamy and Shawn Wasson — aimed at strengthening its sales, marketing, and aftermarket operations.

Wellington appoints Andrews as business development manager

Wellington Group of Companies has announced the appointment of David Andrews as business development manager.

“Wellington International is very excited to announce the hiring of Dave Andrews,” said Gregory Watson, president of Wellington International, in a LinkedIn post. “Dave brings his expertise, knowledge, passion and most importantly the experience to meet and exceed the ever-growing logistic requirements in Newfoundland.”

Adrienne Hartman to lead J. J. Keller’s marketing

J. J. Keller & Associates has named Adrienne Hartman as its new executive vice-president of marketing, effective June 2. She will succeed Lisa Karpinski, who is retiring after more than 12 years with the company.

Hartman will oversee the company’s 180-person marketing team, which includes product line marketing, digital commerce, marketing operations, technology, analytics, and the J. J. Keller Sales Academy, a six-month internal training program for future sales professionals.

With more than three decades of experience, Hartman has spent the past 18 years with J. J. Keller, advancing from e-commerce to marketing leadership. Prior to joining the company, she held senior roles with Wisconsin-based retailers Mason Companies and Lands’ End, according to a news release.

She holds a degree in business administration and management information systems from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, where she remains engaged as a member of the marketing advisory board. Hartman also serves on the University of Wisconsin E-Business Consortium advisory board and is a regular speaker at national B2B marketing conferences, J.J. Keller says.

Goodyear names Boucharlat senior vice-president, global commercial

Grégory Boucharlat has been appointed senior vice-president, global commercial at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. He will join the company’s senior leadership team and oversee the global strategic coordination of its commercial tire business, Goodyear said in a news release.

Boucharlat will continue to lead the company’s Tires-as-a-Service (TaaS) organization, reporting directly to CEO and president Mark Stewart. His appointment is effective immediately, and he will be based in Brussels.

With more than 30 years at Goodyear, Boucharlat began his career in truck tire sales and held various leadership roles in the company’s EMEA commercial business, including vice-president, commercial EU. He most recently served as vice-president, TaaS, where he expanded his scope to a global level, according to a news release.

“Grégory brings to this new role proven abilities to drive innovation in our business and expand his leadership responsibility,” Stewart said in the release. “He is well-positioned to have a fast start and ensure a seamless transition for our Commercial business. I have enormous confidence in his ability to lead our commercial business on a global scale.”

Allison Transmission announces four leadership appointments

Allison Transmission has announced several executive promotions aimed at strengthening its sales, marketing, and aftermarket operations.

Avery Sheets has been promoted to executive director, North America regional sales and national accounts. Alex Schey becomes executive director, global marketing and external communications. Ashwin Gopalaswamy will serve as executive director, global channel of aftermarket and warranty, while Shawn Wasson assumes the role of managing director – North America OEM sales.

“Avery, Alex, Ashwin and Shawn each will bring a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of our business,” said John Coll, senior vice-president, marketing, sales and service. “Their diverse perspectives and well-rounded backgrounds are crucial in capturing our global customers’ wants and needs, creating differentiated value propositions and growing our overall business.”

In his new role, Sheets will lead sales teams across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, focusing on engagement with fleets and dealers to drive market share and organizational growth.

Schey will lead global marketing and communications efforts, working to align Allison’s brand and product strategy with customer needs. His background spans marketing, product development, and engineering.

Gopalaswamy will oversee the company’s global aftermarket operations, including distributor network performance, technical assistance, and warranty management.

Wasson will manage OEM and body builder relationships in North America, with responsibility for product strategy and sales operations planning.
