Corriveau has been involved in fleet operations since 2011 and brings extensive knowledge of the specific needs of fleet managers, the company says. His role will focus on strengthening Turgeon’s position as a partner for fleet branding and vehicle graphics.

“This new role allows us to further tailor our offering to the transportation sector. With Simon, we’re investing in expertise, proximity, and the ability to anticipate our clients’ challenges,” said Kévin Turgeon, president of the company, in the release.

UAP announces leadership transition in heavy vehicle parts division

UAP has announced that Gaétan Delisle, vice-president of the Eastern Canada heavy vehicles parts division, will retire on Oct. 1 after more than 48 years with the company. Delisle joined UAP in 1977 and played a key role in the creation and development of the heavy vehicles parts division, established in 1995, the company said in a news release, adding that Delisle has been instrumental in the growth of UAP’s network across Eastern Canada.

As part of the leadership transition, UAP has appointed Francis Messier as regional vice-president for the heavy vehicle parts division. Messier has been with the company since 2007 and has held several leadership roles, including positions with the Traction store network, the TW Distribution Center, and most recently, the integration of the Saniquip Bergor specialty division. UAP says his extensive market knowledge and customer focus make him well-suited for this new role.
