UAP revamps organizational structure, makes executive appointments

Parts distributor UAP has made several changes to its organizational structure and leadership.

“As we look ahead, we recognize the need to evolve our organization to meet the demands of a dynamic market and ensure we remain the trusted leader in our industry, said Alain Masse, president of UAP. “These changes are designed to drive synergies, enhance operational efficiency, and position the company for long-term success in the automotive and heavy vehicle sectors.”

Among the changes, Alain Primeau has been named executive vice-president. In his role, he will continue to lead the heavy vehicle division, while also overseeing the automotive division.

Roy Moussa has been appointed senior vice-president, NAPA, and will oversee operations from B.C. to Ontario, leading major accounts.

Jeff Van de Sande will continue to lead NAPA Ontario and Altrom, seeking new distribution opportunities, the company said.

The company named Alex Rossetti to the role of senior vice-president, product management for UAP. He’ll oversee product management for the auto and heavy vehicle divisions.

Chris Kinghorn has been named vice-president, digital and sales enablement, and will focus on optimizing UAP’s digital platforms for both the automotive and heavy vehicle divisions.

John O’Dowd, vice-president of marketing for NAPA has been charged with overseeing marketing for both the auto and heavy vehicle divisions. And Marc-Phillipe Beaudoin, vice-president, product management, inventory and pricing for the heavy vehicle division will take on the added responsibibility of supporting integration of product activities for the specialized divisions Saniquip, Bergor, and Master Sourcing.
